Renessta Olds Bio
ReneeO.StyleLab is the brain child of stylist Renessta Olds. As both a costume designer and fashion stylist, her resume includes a diverse body of work, ranging from music artists Joella Deville and Big Freedia to dressing models for Louis Vuitton with Quick Change Artistry. Renessta has also styled Michael Kenneth Williams from HBO's hit show "Boardwalk Empire" for AMMO Magazine to Meeka Claxton for the cover of Gossip Meets Couture. Her fashion editorials have appeared in Status Magazine , Style-ology Magazine, Charlotte Style Magazine and The G.O.O.D.S Magazine. She has also worked as an assistant stylist for AT&T, Smart Board and NJ Tourism Commercials.
Renessta has a lifelong love of fashion and style. Her love affair first began by watching the many fashionable ladies parade through the pews of her church every Sunday. A native New Yorker and current resident of Brooklyn, she has established a vast network of insider contacts within the garment district and multiple showrooms. Additionally, as a former FIT student, Renessta has also cultivated relationships with up-and-coming designers and established industry professionals.
With over ten years in the field, Renessta is an established veteran in costume design as well, working on everything from short independent films to live theater productions. Whether an artist is looking for a stylist to craft their look or a play in need of period pieces, Renessta and ReneeO.StyleLab can do it all.
Renessta attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City continual professional program in Fashion Styling and Costume Design. She is also a graduate of Hunter College, receiving a B.A. in Political Science.
